STABLE FAMILIES

At United Way of the Ocoee Region, our work is rooted in one shared goal: building stable families and a stronger community. Through four interconnected impact areas, we address immediate needs while creating pathways to long-term stability and opportunity.

We help break the cycle of poverty by strengthening financial stability and connecting families to the tools and resources they need to build secure futures. We work to give kids an equal chance by supporting quality childcare initiatives, early learning, literacy, and youth development, ensuring children have the foundation they need to thrive. In times of crisis, we meet immediate basic needs by helping families access food, housing, utilities, and essential services that keep them safe and supported. Together, these efforts help build pathways to a healthy community, where families have access to physical, mental, substance misuse and social supports that promote lasting well-being.

By focusing on stability at every stage, United Way of the Ocoee Region is helping families not just get by, but THRIVE - moving forward stronger, healthier, and more secure.
